Moreno's career has spanned over 70 years; her notable acting work includes supporting roles in the musical films Singin' in the Rain (1952), The King and I (1956) and West Side Story (1961), as well as a 1971 to 1977 stint on the children's television series The Electric Company, and a supporting role as Sister Peter Marie Reimondo on the HBO series Oz from 1997 to 2003. Her other notable films include Popi (1969), Carnal Knowledge (1971), The Four Seasons (1981), I Like It Like That (1994) and the cult film Slums of Beverly Hills (1998). She voiced the titular role of Carmen Sandiego in Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego? from 1994 to 1999. For theater, she is best known for her role as Googie Gomez in The Ritz.

ERA Coalition Forward has announced the Hollywood premiere of the award-winning documentary 'Still Working 9 to 5' by filmmakers Camille Hardman and Gary Lane in honor of women's equality trailblazers Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, and Dolly Parton. The Peabody Awards Board of Jurors has announced that Mel Brooks, legendary comedian and writer of The Producers, will be receiving a special honor at the 84th annual Peabody Awards. Additionally, Quinta Brunson, the award-winning writer, producer, actor, and comedian, has been honored with the Peabody Trailblazer Award. According to multiple reports, Steve Carell has closed a deal which would reunite him with Tina Fey in a television remake of The Four Seasons from Netflix. The Office alum will star in the remake of Alan Alda's 1981 feature, who will star alongside Tina Fey in the series. Fey co-created the adaptation with Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, whom she worked with on 30 Rock. The film is set to go into production later this year.
