Tinc Productions seeks an outstanding candidate to fill the Finance Manager position, a role which will oversee and manage the company’s day-to-day financial health. The right candidate will have a strong background in accounting and budgeting experience, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills.



The right candidate will also have self-motivation to work independently and an ability to work with the senior management team of the company. Duties:



This scope of work is intended to outline the general role expectations required to fulfill this position. An attempt to be as thorough as possible has been made, but there may be additional duties required.



The Finance Manager will prepare financial reports to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.



Supervisory Responsibilities:

● Supervise direct reports, ie: Office Assistant as needed



Duties/Responsibilities:

● Perform general cost accounting and other related duties

● Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and actual performance compared to business plans

● Maintain and maintain corporate checking, investment, and cash accounts.

● Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff.

● Manage and maintain annual budget.

● Create and code invoices for accounts payable.

● Maintain and create new and existing customer accounts.

● Verify deposits and withdrawals.

● Create and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable processes.

● Verify payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.

● Coordinate with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances

● File required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.

● Coordinate with company CPA on quarterly tax payments.

● Maintain the financial health of Tinc Productions.

● As appropriate, coordinates with software vendors to maintain accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.

● Other duties as assigned.



Required Skills/Abilities:

● Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.

● Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.

● Highly proficient with accounting software, including – but not limited to –Quickbooks.

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.



Education and Experience:

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.

● Three to five years of accounting experience required.

● Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar a plus



Physical Requirements:

● Prolonged periods sitting or standing

● Physical activities including but not limited to standing, bending, lifting, climbing, and using stairs.



Staff Responsibilities:

● Participate in Team Meetings, Labor Services Meetings, Safety Committee, Senior Management and other meetings as required.

● Submit expense reports and change orders in a timely fashion to the finance department.

● Engage with and assist Marketing and Business Development to grow the business.

● Engage in creation, development, and improvement of company policies, procedures, and documentation.

● Participate in decision making regarding theatrical services projects and related staffing needs.

● Create a yearly fiscal budget taking into consideration future needs, growth, seasonal expansion and retractions and other requirements as needed.

● Continue to manage and track employee workload keeping a positive work life balance for all Tinc Employees.





General Responsibilities as a Tinc Employee



● As a member of the Tinc Management Team, you may be called to assist, provide opinions, or provide services to specific Tinc projects as needed. These should not take focus away from your primary duties.

● Ensure that safety procedures are being upheld across all departments and that our employees and non-employee staff maintain a positive and healthy working environment.

● Keep all work environments organized and tidy.

● Represent Tinc’s Culture in all interactions.

● Take into account the long-term health of Tinc and our clients in all decision-making.

● Provide support and feedback to other managers and staff as needed.

● Train new team members in Tinc’s procedures, processes, and systems.

● Contribute to the growth and development of Tinc Productions procedures, processes and systems.

Pay Range: $51,500 – $60,000 Annually (Negotiable)



Employee Status: Part Time



Employee Benefits include access to company health care / dental / vision and other employee benefits and perks.



Hours: Part Time (30 Hours a Week Estimated)



Remote Worker a majority of the time / Occasionally in person for yearly meeting in New York Headquarters.
