Following the success of Missa in tempore belli the previous season, the Chorus of Dutch National Opera and the dancers of Dutch National Ballet are combining forces once more. Led by choreographer and director Christian Spuck, they share the stage with four soloists, accompanied by the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. In his interpretation of Verdi's Messa da Requiem, Spuck brings together vocal music and dance with great virtuosity, in poetically powerful tableaux.
San Francisco Opera's 2022 Fall Season Concludes With Two Concert Presentations

All of San Francisco Opera's artistic forces will be on display December 1–4, the final week of the 2022 Fall Season. Along with closing performances in the War Memorial Opera House of acclaimed new productions of Gluck's Orpheus and Eurydice (Thursday, December 1) and Verdi's La Traviata (Saturday, December 3), the Company will present two concerts in the Veterans Building.

San Francisco Opera presents Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata conducted by Caroline H. Hume Music Director Eun Sun Kim in a new staging by director Shawna Lucey. This new vision of a beloved classic, the first new production of La Traviata to be built by the Company in 35 years, will open on November 11 simultaneously at the War Memorial Opera House and on the videoboard at Oracle Park in a free Opera at the Ballpark simulcast.

Micaya will present the 24th Annual San Francisco International Hip Hop DanceFest (SFIHHDF), and has announced a return to live performances this November 11-13, 2022. This year's SFIHHDF features five world premiere works commissioned by the festival, and welcomes artists from Paris, Norway, Los Angeles, Vacaville, Oakland, San Jose, San Mateo, San Francisco, and New York.
