On April 29, 2024, Virginia’s Signature Theatre honored star of stage and screen Nathan Lane with the company’s thirteenth Stephen Sondheim Award. The versatile and mega-talented performer Nathan Lane was awarded the Signature Theatre's Sondheim Award on Monday, April 29th and the unique sardonic humor and sophisticated sensibility was evident throughout the performances of those who paid tribute to his remarkable career. Lane’s authenticity and natural charisma bounced off the walls of the Anthem building ---where the Gala was held.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey has announced “Revelry,” an exclusive fundraising soirée and gala concert set to take place on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Mead Hall and The F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre on the campus of Drew University.

According to reports, Jeremy Irons and Helena Bonham Carter will be appearing together in a new film from Neil Jordan, director of 1994's Interview with a Vampire. The film is based on a book by Jordan, The Well of Saint Nobody. In addition to Irons and Carter, actor Aidan Quinn is also set to star in the film. It will begin shooting later this year.

According to reports, Billy Magnussen, Sarah Gadon and Hamish Linklater are all set to join Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell in Sony's upcoming imaginative A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. Their roles in the film have not been confirmed and specific plot details have also been kept under wraps. The film is said to center on an emotional connection between two strangers, likely to be Robbie and Farrell.

Jonathan Groff, who is currently playing the role of Franklin Shepard in the Broadway revival of Merrily We Roll Along, visited Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday. This marks his first talk show appearance since receiving a Tony nomination for his performance in the musical. The actor appeared on the show following a day of press interviews saying, 'I cannot stop crying.' Watch the interview now!
