The star capping this Christmas pine of musical pleasure is Rita's own, original song that gives the CD its title ... Around Each Christmas Tree. It's the rum in your egg nog with a catchy, pop-rock, maybe even country, melody and lovely lyrics celebrating the true meaning of our Yuletide season. (more...)

by Alan Henry on November 15, 2014

Sometimes an idea is so crazy, it just might work. The premise behind the hit Off-Broadway play, Buyer and Cellar is simple – Barbra Streisand has an underground mall in her basement and hires an out of work actor to tend to the shops. The first part of the premise is based in reality; Streisand really does have an underground mall – which she discusses in her book My Passion for Design.
