If you LOVE Musical Theater and believe the Arts are essential for both society and humanity, then DCM wants you to join our fundraising team at the beloved, historic New York City Center! Our outreach directly supports NYCC’s mission to continue to persevere through these unprecedented times as the city’s leading center for dance and musical theater. We’re looking to hire those who have the passion and conviction required for success!



YOU MUST BE: charismatic, reliable, persistent, and enthusiastic for the Arts! You must also be able to read from a script confidently and naturally, and be receptive to ongoing coaching. This is a FUNDRAISING position, not a customer service job--you need to be able to turn a NO into a YES, and have what it takes to CLOSE GIFTS over the phone!



Requirements:



*A background in musical theater or the performing arts is required, and sales experience preferred

*Basic computer literacy and a professional phone manner

*If hired, must be available for paid training on 10/12/2020 beginning at 3:30pm ET

*Must be available for the approximate 2-4 week duration of campaign

*TECH REQUIRED: headset or earbuds w/ microphone, a PC or Mac computer, and stable high-speed internet



PART TIME, FLEXIBLE HOURS on AFTERNOONS, WEEKNIGHTS, and WEEKENDS.



NO COLD CALLING! NO COLD CALLING! NO COLD CALLING! You’ll be calling New York City Center audience members and donors.



$$$ Base Hourly Wage, PLUS COMMISSIONS and BONUSES $$$



You must be working from one of the following states to be eligible: NY, PA, NJ, ME, CT, TX, IL, OH, KY, CA, OR, WA



We work YEAR ROUND, successful fundraisers will be given opportunities to work on other campaigns!
