Breakdown

The songs of the pop group ABBA provide the score for this romantic comedy that contrasts the dreams and desires of a young woman about to become a bride with those of her mother, a free spirit of the 70s who never married. MAMMA MIA! takes place at a taverna on a Greek island.

Strong contemporary singers, men and women, early 20s – mid 40s, all races, ethnic backgrounds, and sizes who move well to comprise the ensemble and understudy the principals. All should have a great rock sound and be able to move well.
