Maybe Mary Poppins if I'm in the mood for it when it's here in November. I do like that kind of show. Other than that, it's pretty much just War Horse that I'm interested in. Private Lives and Blue Dragon just seem like "elderly couple" shows, Chess just looks plain weird and bizarre and I'm not a huge fan of the "Hair" soundtrack. I'm not one from that generation so I don't know if it will appeal to me. I may do a cheap seat when it's here but it's not a high priority.
I am looking forward to trying to get tickets for American Idiot whenever they go on sale. I just wish the show was here longer than two weeks during the Christmas holiday. That seems like a poor decision to me.
I'm hoping that maybe Mirvish will bring in a couple of things over the next few months off subscription, as there is nothing currently scheduled for the Canon Theatre after this weekend
I was lucky enough, that I have already seen all of the Dancap shows that are coming to Toronto, in NYC. The only show I have no intention of seeing again was American Idiot. Just wasnt my cup of tea!
Im going to be buying Addams Family tickets as holiday gifts for my folks (if the price comes down) and Im a Mirvish Subscriber, so Ill see whatever is coming my way. Not too interested in Chess, but I am looking forward to Private Lives
Buddies is doing The Normal Heart? Hmm, sounds good.
Just googled it: Oct. 15 - Nov. 6, production by Studio 180 Theatre, whose production of The Laramie Project I saw at Buddies several years ago. TOP ticket price is only $35. I am so there.
