DO-NOT-LIVE-Photo-Coverage-Breaking-Dawn-in-Toronto-Red-Carpet-with-Bite-20000101Breaking Dawn - Part 1, the final installment in the extremely popular Twilight movie series, opened in Toronto on Thursday evening with a star-studded red carpet at The Elgin/Wintergarden Theatre.  In attendance for the very first screening of the film in Canada were Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Cullen) and SaraH Clarke (Bella's Mom).

The stars braved cold weather and even some flurries to greet eager "Twihards" who had lined Yonge St with posters, books and memorabilia hoping to catch a glimpse of some of their favourite vampires.  When Ashley and Jackson arrived, eager shrieks erupted throughout downtown Toronto that one could have easily mistaken for the sound of someone being bitten by a vampire.

All three cast-members took their time with members of the media, patiently answering questions about the eagerly-anticipated sequel and their roles within the Twilight family.  SaraH Clarke even spoke about her theatre beginnings, including a stint at Circle in the Square in NYC. After the screening, there was a special Q&A which was a real hit with the fans.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 is now in wide release across Canada.  For screenings and showtimes please check local listings.
