Brittany Goldfield Rodrigues Joins BWW Toronto Editorial Team!

The BroadwayWorld Toronto family is growing once again! Today, we're thrilled to announce that Brittany Goldfield Rodrigues has joined the team!

Brittany is a second year journalism student at Ryerson. She is also currently interning at the social media hub ANDPOP and has written for York University's "Excalibur" as well as her local paper "The Liberal". After realizing her love for writing in grade 5 after a short-story unit, she decided that she wants to write as a living.

Brittany had her long-term goals for writing set by the time she was 14. This was around the time she saw the film version of "Rent" for the first time. She decided she wanted to be a journalist as soon as she started to develop a love for theatre.

She saw her first live musical "Jersey Boys" in Toronto, and then realized theatre was something she was passionate about. Her first trip to New York a few years later confirmed that theatre was something she was passionate about and needed to write about.

She can't wait to dive into theatre news and tell readers about all the exciting shows on the Toronto stage whether they be current or upcoming.
