The Woman in Black is currently the second longest running play on London’s West End (the Mousetrap is the first) and each year scares and enthralls many enthusiastic theatre goers who venture out to hear the story of young solicitor Arthur Kipps, a man haunted by the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman.

Theatrical productions are often adapted from stage to screen, but not often are they as highly anticipated as this new adaptation by Director James Watkins.  Starring none other Daniel Radcliffe (made famous by playing Harry Potter and coming off two successful theatre roles in Equus and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), the film is shaping up to be one of the must-see movies of the winter season.

The Toronto premiere takes place on January 26th at the Scotiabank Theatre at Richmond and John, and will feature a very exclusive “black carpet” event attended by Mr. Radcliffe.  Alliance Canada is organizing some unique contests surrounding the premiere, including a chance for one lucky journalist to interview Daniel one on one.  In addition, BWW is thrilled to be able to offer its readers the chance to win double passes to attend the Black Carpet premiere and be one of the first people to screen the movie.

In order to enter, follow @broadwaybabyto and @broadwayworld on Twitter and tweet the following: “I want to brave the black carpet and win tickets to #WomanInBlack from @broadwaybabyto and @broadwayworld”  Only one entry per Twitter account, and winners will be drawn at random and announced on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012.

Rules:

Only one entry per Twitter account, multiple tweets will only be counted once.

Winners will be notified by DM by 11:59PM on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012.
